Beechworth

Beechworth is one of Australia's best preserved historic towns with many examples of unique Australian Architecture.

 

The town is nestled amongst the high country of the north east of victoria at an altitude of 560 meters.

 

It sits on the top of a granite escarpment between the Ovens and Kiewa -Valleys.

 

The Spring Creek Gorge wraps around the town and produces waterfalls, cliffs and valleys with forests of native and deciduous trees, gardens and grand Victorian Architecture.

 

Gary's photos capture the varying temperaments of Beechworth.
